This EP by the Canadian production aficionado marks his first EP on Richard Akingbehin's Berlin based label, and does not disappoint one bit. How can you, with the first track featuring the legendary Jamaican vocalist Gavsborg sermonising over melodic yet sporadic arpeggios drenched in reverb and crunch. It doesn't stop there. The second track, 'Isolation Dub', lives up to its name, as rolling percussion is interjected with sparse synth stabs, before the title track '9' picks up the pace slightly, as a deep, industrial march with muffled voices accompanies the listener.
