Description
Time Capsule is a new label focusing on reissues. Curated by unique record collectors, audiophiles, and music historians from Beauty & The Beat, a long-established party in East London, and brilliant corners, a British jazz café in East London. Produced by Kei Suzuki, a Japanese musician living in London, we will introduce and explain music from around the world that is currently difficult to obtain analog records. The first release on the label is curated by Tokyo-based producer Ryota Opp, who visits brilliant corners every year. The 1978 masterpiece by the popular composer who made the Moog synthesizer known throughout Italy in the 70's, plus commentary and unpublished photos. The original artwork is also completely reproduced, and it is a gatefold specification. Only the band for the first press is included. Born in Milan in 1940, Federico Monte Ardini was called a piano prodigy and began performing in concerts by the time he was eight years old. In his teens, he began writing hit songs that sold over 10,000 copies for famous artists, but his real career took off later. He turned down an invitation from Austrian maestro Karajan to join an orchestra and became director of the pop department of a major Italian music publisher. After traveling to the United States and meeting Bob Moog in person, he was captivated by its charm and began experimenting in his own studio. His Moog-heavy production, which is also called the dawn of the New Age, signed an anonymous release contract called "Il Guardiano Del Faro" when he was working for a company. While one of the traditions of anarchic electronic musicians after hiding their identity has already been established here, the first album sold over 700,000 copies and won the top charts. After quitting his job, he built a studio in a rural seaside town overlooking a lighthouse, equipped with numerous synthesizers and tape recorders, and produced and released numerous albums from 1975 to the 1980s. Among his numerous albums, 1978's "Oasis" boasts a cult-like popularity that has been handed down since then due to the pleasant balance between its experimental and emotional use of sound and the definite melody that grabs the heart. While swaying between ambient and mood music with spiritual synthesizers, the fusion of retro beats by Roland's early rhythm box and warm live drums creates a comfortable space disco. The world view of the entire album, which is full of Balearic and psychedelic feelings, is a must-listen.
