Here the Dope Jams cartel gift the track a tasteful extension, making it more than suitable for play at your next leftfield disco! I can see DJs like Optimo, Harvey and Andi Hanley getting loads of mileage out of this one...Dope Jams are the daddy at this: taking a reasonably obscure nugget from the world of psych, disco or jazz-funk etc; reissuing it at a crucial time, and boosting the package with one of their tastefully executed extensions. Argent's "Hold Your Head Up" follows an edit of Jean-Luc Ponty a few weeks back and makes total sense as we head into the springtime dances. Recommended! Pressed on sunflower haze clear vinyl.
