Mathematics Recordings等からのリリースでアンダーグラウンド・シーンに君臨するシカゴのプロデューサーChicago Skywayが、ラフな質感とソウルが融合した純粋なシカゴ・デトロイト流ディープ・ハウスのEPをミシガンのレーベルから発表。
ミシガンのレーベルCalder City Development Corp.から、Chicago Skywayによる『Body Remembers EP』が登場。
Jamal Moss主宰のMathematics RecordingsやUzuriなどのカルト的レーベルから作品を発表し、アンダーグラウンドなクラブ・シーンで確固たる支持を集めてきたChicago Skyway。本作でも、独特なスウィング感、ラフな質感、 shadow とソウルが融合した、純粋なシカゴ・デトロイト流ディープ・ハウスのエナジーを提示している。ダスティなドラム・プログラミングにディープなベースライン、そして哀愁と希望を同時に感じさせるコードワークが特徴。理屈抜きに体に直接響き、意識するよりも先に胸へと届くグルーヴが敷き詰められている。
