20:20 Visionからのソロ回顧アルバムやAtjazzとの共作盤『8 Days』で高い評価を得てきたプロデューサーFred Everything。彼がフランス出身でモントリオールを拠点とするミュージシャン／鍵盤奏者のTeuteuとタッグを組み、Winding Road Recordsより登場させた『Arrêt Infini』。
Fredの緻密なフロア向けプロダクションとTeuteuの巧みなキーボードワークが融合した本作は、温かいコード感、伸びやかなストリングス、うねるベースラインを軸に展開するディープ・ハウス。シネマティックな躍動感をもつ「Part 1」、高揚感を誘うディープなグルーヴの「Part 2」、多幸感あふれる音響のアンビエント「Reprise」、そして実験的なダブ表現を試みた「Rhythm & Bass」まで、異なるアプローチの全4トラックを収めたヴァイナル。

Fred Everything is on an impressive streak right now, having just released a solo retrospective album on 20: 20 Vision and the much-lauded ‘8 Days’ collaboration album with Atjazz.
On this first release for Winding Road Records, Fred teams up with a fellow Montreal musician Teuteu to deliver the lush deep house of ‘Arrêt Infini’.
There are four interpretations of the track, each showcasing Fred’s crisp dancefloor-focused production and Teuteu’s keyboard mastery. From the cinematic punch of Part 1, and the deep uplifting groove of Part 2, to the blissed-out ambience of the Reprise, and the out-there dubbiness of ‘Rhythm & Bass’. All filled with warm chords, soaring strings, and squidgy basslines, but coming from a different angle.
Another jewel in Fred Everything’s expansive discography, and another choice Winding Road Records release.
