アムステルダムを拠点に活動するフルート奏者 Han Litz が率いる Han Litz Group のリミックス・プロジェクト。ジャズ、ソウル、アフロ、ハウスを横断するサウンドを、世界各地のリミキサーたちが再構築した一枚。
Han Litz は長年にわたり、ジャズ・フルート、アフリカン・リズム、ブラジリアン・パーカッション、ソウル／ファンク・グルーヴを自在に操る音楽家。“音で団結を創りたい”と語る彼の音楽は、ダンス・シーンだけでなくライヴ・ステージや録音作品を通じても高く評価されてきた。
本作には以下のようなリミックスが収録されている：

“Unity In Diversity (Yoruba Soul Remix)” … Osunlade によるスピリチュアルで太いグルーヴのアレンジ。

これらのトラックは、ハウス／ディープ・ハウスを軸にしつつ、ジャズの即興性、アフロ・パーカッションの原始的グルーヴ、クラブ向けのダンス・フォーマットを絶妙に織り交ぜている。Han Litz のフルート演奏が“生きた音”として浮き立ち、各リミキサーがその音に異なる角度から光を当てている。

Amsterdam's most in-demand flute player Han Litz has featured on many artists' releases over the years, this time the tables turned and they returned the favour by remixing one of his tunes. Producers such as Osunlade (Yoruba Soul), Coflo, Manoo and N’Dinga Gaba all went in and crafted immaculate versions that contribute to Han's mesmerizing playing. There's a reason why they all reach out to Han when they need an extra layer of spiritual depth on their productions. From a more introspective remix by Osunlade, to a deep 3-step inspired track by the French DJ/producer Manoo, to an 11-minute tribal journey by Coflo, and a more laidback afro-house remix by N’Dinga Gaba, this EP got something for everyone that moves within the house spectrum that has an affinity for percussive grooves and live flutes.
