Postcards From Heaven was Lighthouse Family's second album for Wildcard; a divine spark co-delivered with Mike Peden from late 1996 and summer 1997. Out in October that year, it continued to impress the duo's smooth blend of pop, easy listening and soul. 'Raincloud', 'High' and 'Lost In Space' were the lead trio of singles, effecting a neat uptempo distension of their core soul sound, through lenses of sophisti-funky house and 2-step garage, with a Men In Black-era svelteness furthering a feel of young-adult thrill. It remains their most internationally successful release.
