1993年に発表されたMobyの初のアンビエント作品が復刻。インストゥルメンタルを中心とした本作は、暗く重厚な「Bad Days」「Lean on Me」から、明るく浮揚感のある「Heaven」「Dog」まで、多彩な音世界が広がる。当時Mobyが初めて本格的に取り組んだアンビエント・ミュージックは、後に彼の代表作の一つとして知られるようになった。

Originally released in 1993, “Ambient” contains mainly instrumental compositions, varying from the dark and moody “Bad Days” and “Lean on Me” to the more uplifting “Heaven” and “Dog.” Produced by Moby, the album marks his first foray into ambient music which has since become one of his hallmarks. This limited edition version features clear vinyl.
