Nick The Record が Natural House から送り出すエディット集。長年DJとして活動し、幅広いダンス・ミュージックを知り尽くした視点で組み上げられた3曲は、彼の実際のプレイで繰り返し使われてきた内容そのもの。各地のフロアで機能してきたバージョンが、そのままヴァイナルとして形になっている。
A面の「Move On Down To The Other Side」は、プロト・ハウスからNRGへとつながる系譜を感じさせる構成で、キックとシンセの押し出しが強く、フロアの空気を一気に引き上げるタイプ。シンプルだが勢いのある展開で、ピーク前後のアクセントとして使いやすい。
B面の「Break Fast Club」は、バレアリック感覚を軸にした開放的なグルーヴ。緩やかなうねりと夜更けまで続くような流れが心地よく、時間帯を選ばず溶け込む。一方「Steamy」はテンポを上げ、ブギーの要素を含んだディープな運動量が特徴で、身体を前に押し出す推進力が際立つ。

The A-side brings the proto-house/NRG bomb “Move On Down To The Other Side” - an instant energy lift for any dancefloor. On the flip, “Break Fast Club” channels the Balearic spirit, all sun-soaked grooves and late-night momentum, while “Steamy” pushes up the BPM for a deeper, boogie-tinged workout.
