Pete Warner, aka Pete Kessler is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer best known for this, his only solo release. Pete was instrumental to Patrick’s work with Phreek, Herbie Mann, Dazzle, and Rainy Davis. He was a member of The P.A. System, a collective of 34 musicians who contributed towards 25 album projects between 1979 and 1982In the 90s he wrote for artists including Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri.
“I Just Want To Spend My Life With You” is one of the most highly acclaimed productions from the pre-disco heyday and has the most soulful arrangements and vocals. Original copies have exchanged hands between £80 and £150 on the northern soul/crossover scenes
