A面には、1996年に Spacebunny が Surreal Recordings から発表した “Spacebunny” を収録。Danny Tenaglia のコンピレーション『Twisted Secrets Vol.2』にも収められたハウス・クラシックで、当時からパーティで愛され続ける一曲。オリジナル盤は現在では中古市場でおよそ19,000円前後の高値で取引されるレア・アイテム。
B面の The Mingers “Fancy A Shag” は、2002年に Surreal Recordings の姉妹レーベル Deeper London からわずか200枚のみプレスされた激レア音源。トライバルなビートと太いファンキー・ベース、情感を帯びたストリングスが絡み合うディープ・ハウスで、序盤からジワジワとフロアを熱くするタイプのトラック。
トライバル、ファンキー、そしてアンダーグラウンドな質感を併せ持つこのヴァイナルは、当時の空気を今に伝える一枚。コレクションとしても、現場の武器としても外せない。

The Spacebunny tracks were originally released on Surreal Recordings back in 1996, the original mix being licensed to Danny Tenaglia's Twisted Secrets (vol2), since then it has become a party classic with original copies changing hands for over £100 on discogs.
The Mingers "Fancy A Shag" track was released in 2002 on Deeper London (a subsidiary of Surreal Recordings) with a limited press of only 200 copies. The track is floor filler and was often one that would kick things off in the early stages of the night, featuring big tribally beats, a fat funky bass and emotive strings.
