ニューヨークを拠点に活動するプロデューサー／DJ、Tom Nobleが手がけるプロジェクト House of Spirits が7インチをリリース。A面には、この名義を象徴する楽曲“Holding On”を収録。ゴスペルの高揚感とレア・グルーヴ的な厚み、さらにP&P Recordsを思わせるソウルフルな質感が交わる、HOSサウンドの核ともいえる1曲だ。
B面にはアルバム収録曲の中でも人気の高い“Love Trip”をカップリング。スモーキーな空気感の中に艶やかさを漂わせる仕上がりで、フロアでも自宅でも存在感を放つ。
