スコットランド生まれのネオ・デトロイト系テクノ・プロデューサーVince Watsonによる作品がElektronik Zoo Soundsから登場。オランダ・ヒルバーサムを拠点に活動するWatsonは、Ovum、Pokerflat、Tresorといった名門レーベルから自身のEverysoulまで、20年以上にわたり質の高い音楽を発表し続けている。
『Spirals EP』は、彼の特徴である精密なサウンドデザインと情感豊かなメロディが光る内容。デトロイトのエッセンスを内包しつつテクノとハウスの中間的なサウンドは幅広いDJ達にオススメできる仕上がり。
