Miguel de Deusの『Black Soul Brothers』からタイトル曲を収録したA面は、'Black Rio'ムーヴメントを象徴する一枚。1977年にCopacabanaからリリースされたこのアルバムは、ブラジルのソウル／ファンク史において重要な作品だ。Os Brazõesの創設メンバーでもあるDe Deusによるグルーヴィーな一曲が、7インチでは初登場。
AA面にはJames Brownの『Hot Pants Road』のカヴァーを収録。こちらはOs Brazõesが1972年にEpic Brazilから発表したアルバム『Com Muito Ritmo』に収められていた楽曲で、これも7インチ化は今回が初。ブラジリアン・ファンクの熱量が凝縮された、DJにとっても嬉しい強力な一枚。

The AA side features a cover of James Brown's 'Hot Pants Road' taken from their 1972 LP 'Com Muito Ritmo' on Epic Brazil, again previously unreleased on 7".
