ユーゴスラビアの貴重な音源を掘り起こした人気コンピレーション・シリーズ第二弾。同地最大レーベルJugotonの秘蔵テープから、1968年から1982年までのレア・グルーヴを厳選。
初期ソウルから80年代のジプシー・ディスコ、フォークまで、東欧ならではの狂気を帯びたビートが勢揃い。Spektarの未発表音源やZlatokosaのブレイクビート・クラシック、Josipa Lisacのジャジーなナンバーなど、サンプリングにもダンスフロアにも最適な選曲が特徴だ。
Dr. Smeđi ŠećerとVišeslav Labošによる選曲が、ユーゴスラビア音楽史の知られざる一面を照らし出す。オリジナル・マスター・テープからリマスタリングされた音源は、当時の熱気をそのまま伝える。
