サンパウロの音楽シーンに深く根ざし、自身のレーベルIn Their Feelingsを運営するPedro Zopelar。レーベル設立10周年を記念したプロジェクトへの参加に続き、D3 Elementsから登場した本作『Just Like Heaven EP』では、彼の持つ多才な表現力が遺憾なく発揮されている。
冒頭の「A World With No War」は、内省的な空気感を纏ったアンビエント。社会の複雑さを静かに見つめるかのような思索的な空間が広がる。そこにデトロイトの重鎮Patrice Scottがリミックスで加わり、リズムを削ぎ落とした瞑想的な奥行きをさらに深めている。対照的に「Heaven House」は、90年代の空気感を吹き込んだ官能的なハウス・グルーヴを展開。そして最後を飾る「Spiritual Moment」は、複雑なブロークン・ビーツから、穏やかな海辺を連想させるバレアリックなアンセムへと鮮やかに表情を変えていく。音の厚みと豊かな階調が際立つ一枚。

The EP opens with A World With No War, a track that stands out for its deep, reflective atmosphere. Patrice Scott’s remix takes this thoughtful vibe and adds layers of atmospheric depth, stripping away rhythm to create a meditative space. Heaven House brings a sensual, 90s- inspired house groove, perfect for the dancefloor. The closing Spiritual Moment starts with broken beats before evolving into a Balearic anthem, evoking beachside tranquility.
