Description
【Restock! ] Japanese producers/DJs living in London, Koichi Sakai and Kei Suzuki unit Afrobuddha 2nd work! The first album, released in 2011, featured the Kakatsitsi Drummers, a traditional Ghanaian drummer band who performed with The Orb on the main stage of Glastonbury this year. Currently in charge of a program on the popular East London radio station NTS, this album features a mid-tempo beat reminiscent of Wally Badarou, and the lightning-like congas of Afla Sackey, a drummer from Ghana who lives in London. A tribal and cosmic song featuring djembe! Cosmic polysynths and acid lines that resound on beats that combine triple time and polyrhythm, with live chants to invite you into a spiritual zone! The B-side is a dub mix with a more psychedelic feel, consisting only of a drum machine, live drums, and a tape delay that manipulates them! The newly drawn original artwork is a statue of Afro Buddha by Mr. Tokio Aoyama, one of the world's leading painters in Japan, who has worked with George Clinton, Snoop Lion, Shafiq Husayn, Ras G, etc. The artwork that accurately expresses the sound world of this work and the philosophy of Afrobuddha is also printed in full color on paper with a natural texture. 45rpm on both sides, 180g heavyweight vinyl for the first time only, a must-have for collectors!
