Up-and-coming UK artist Ishmael, whose recently released album on Church, which is popular with Laurence Guy and Mall Grab, has been well-received, has released his second 12-inch album from Wolf Music on the same label since his debut in 2014! The gospel house A1 uses a church call and response that sounds like a field recording, followed by the dreamy A2 with spacey synth arpeggios and a female chorus over a Chicago-style synth bass. Contains a total of 4 songs: a jazzy deep house B1 using a female vocal jazz sample, and a B2 remix of A2 by Soulphiction, who is familiar with Philpot! Recommended!
