Genius DJ Fett Burger, who runs Sex Tags with his younger brother DJ Sotofett based in Norway, has started a new project with Double Dancer at DJ Dog & established a new label Rebound Lounge, releasing the first 12 inch! Basketball-themed, this album is centered entirely on vintage hardware sounds, and incorporates various sounds such as announcements at the stadium, the murmur of the crowd, play noises on the court, and the referee's call to judges. Finished as a concept EP, B1 "Time Out" has a gentle synth riff reminiscent of early Detroit techno, and B3 "Buzzer Beater" is an uptempo beatdown house reminiscent of KDJ. A total of 5 songs that are both nostalgic and fresh, and are likely to come in handy as casual accents when playing! Recommended!
