The 4th volume of the "DownTownSounds Classics" series focusing on the classics of the NY scene from the popular re-editing label Fatty Fatty Phonographics from Dublin, Ireland, where DJ Rahaan, DJ Darryn Jones, etc. have released mainly by Pablo & Shoey! The A-side is the electro-funk classic Aleem 1984 "Release Yourself" produced by Larry Levan and DJ Harvey, produced by NY hip-hop legend Marley Marl. Shawn's Philly number "Take Me I'm Yours" released in 1980, Billy Nichols produced Rena L Feeney's uptempo disco boogie "Dance It Off" in 1981, each edited by Pablo & Shoey! All of them are polite work that respects the original and have a good reputation! Recommended!
