[Authentic re-press! ] "Alive / Cascade" was released by Dan Curtin, a talented Cleveland artist who has continued to release Detroit-based deep techno/house music with his Metamorphic and Peacefrog bands since the early 90's and is highly trusted by fans, released on the long-established Strictly Rhythm in 1994. Remastered and official reissue using the original master! A fusion of NYC deep house and Detroit techno, it develops an emotional and funky sound that can be said to be the prototype of beatdown house, and the B2 "Cascade (Dawn Mix)" with its beautiful introspective pad and piano melody is a must-listen! It seems to be compatible with the Vancouver sound ~ floating house, so if you don't have it, please take this opportunity!
