[Popular board re-press! ] The 5-member band Maajo, derived from Herman Prime's 12-inch "Maajo" released on Seagull in 2015, will release an album as the first of a new UK label, Queen Nanny! The whole song is a relaxed tropical Afro-funk with percussion, mallets, and chants, ending with Africa's unreleased version of "Maajo", a tribute to Nigeria's Juju international star King Sunny Adé.
