Up-and-coming Garrett David, who is a resident at Chicago's Smart Bar with Black Madonna and Rahaan, and also works as an A&R and buyer for the famous Gramaphone Records store in Chicago, releases his second album from Distant Hawaii under Lobster Theremin, following his 2016 release Octagon Blues. Released 12 inches! The A1 is captivating with its beautiful, crumbling piano sound that sounds like it was pulled from an old jazz record, while the classic-style A2 and A3 are reminiscent of 808 State's early works, evoking a somewhat nostalgic feeling. Contains a total of 5 songs: abstract to ambient house B1 with vinyl noise, B2 reminiscent of early Detroit techno, and deep house with a floating feel that gives off a sophisticated and high sense of aesthetics, just like the previous work!
