Coastlines is a chillout project by Takumi Kaneko, who is also known as DJ Masanori Ikeda and cro-magnon keyboardist. Coastlines, who released their first single Coastlines EP this summer and sold out in a blink of an eye, will release their long-awaited second single in January 2019. Half Moon Shadow (A-Side) has an effective bassline reminiscent of Metro Area's masterpiece "Miura" led by Morgan Geist, an impressive acoustic guitar loop, downtempo 4/4 and piano solo. And Sunset Reflection (AA-Side), a non-beat track composed of organic wood bass and percussion, with a mellow piano. Continuing from the previous work, this time, it is a superb piece that spreads a comfortable and chill world view.
