ASUKA ANDO / SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS (7 inch)

asuka ando's first full-length album "mellowmoood" released in April 2015 - its sweet reggae sound "too mellow" is the gold standard of Japanese lovers rock reggae in the 2010s. It became a work that should be said. After the elegant intro, "Yume de Aimasho ~see you in my dreams~" decorates the beginning of the album. Including this work, the guitarist "ARI" Ryuichi Matsumoto who arranges almost all of her works, Koji Oishi (LITTLE TEMPO) on drums, Shingo Nukashin (Mighty Caskets) on bass, and Emerson Kitamura on keyboards. The elegant sound that greeted us at the beginning is a song that serves as a lead track that seems to be a lead track that impresses the entire album. And this song was released as a leading 7 inch in February 2015, prior to the album, and disappeared from the store in an instant, but this time, this 7 inch is a long-awaited re-press with a new look. One of the highlights this time is the dub version "COSMIC LOVERS DUB" recorded on the B side. Dub master Naoyuki Uchida, who was an engineer at LITTLE TEMPO, FLYING RHYTHMS, DRY & HEAVY in the past, and was a member of the group responsible for their sound. He is a dub master known to all reggae fans in Japan, and it is still fresh in our memory that he worked on the mixing of GEZAN's "KLUE" in 2020 and became a hot topic. Through LITTLE TEMPO's songs, asuka ando, who has been strongly influenced by the dub sound he creates, is also the version that has finally come to fruition with an offer he has been warming up for many years. In this dub version, starting with the sweet original song, Emerson Kitamura's keyboards, and making use of the character of each instrument, a more spacey and psychedelic dub mix is ​​developed, demonstrating the craftsmanship. The jacket uses artwork by Atsushi Harata using liquid light {the layout is by COM (Duncan tonight), who also worked on the 1st design}. Asuka ando, who is releasing a new album, will have a new 7-inch that can be said to be the origin of the song.
