DJ KAWASAKI is currently the head of KAWASAKI RECORDS, an analog label. This new album, "ONE WORLD", includes three singles released on 7-inch with remixes by DJ KON, Dr. Packer, Danny Krivit and others. Also included are songs featuring Shea Soul, who was featured in the late Phil Asher's work, and Taliwa, who is also known for Ziggy Funk's work. Furthermore, the selection of Ayana, who is The Room's youngest staff member and made her album debut in March 2021, has also become a hot topic. A total of 11 songs that challenge new frontiers, including instrumental songs that incorporate Afro, jazz, funk, and boogie! Up-and-coming participating musicians who fully back up DJ KAWASAKI sound are Hidero Nishioka (Venue Vincent, CENTRAL) (trumpet & percussion), Shinji Nakamura (piano), Tetsuta Odate (JARIBU AFROBEAT ARKESTRA) (guitar), Hiroshi Ihara anikki ( Venue Vincent (guitar), Yoshinao Shirane (drums), Kenichi Ikeda (ROOT SOUL) (bass), Leo Nanjo (tropico, CENTRAL) (bass), Ken Kurihara (sax), Mio Fujimura (trombone), Yui Kawachi Ko (Retrospective) (cello), Yui Kaneko (violin) Sound production by DJ KAWASAKI, and total production and styling by Shuya Okino (KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE/ KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET), whom DJ KAWASAKI admires as his mentor. Yusuke Yoshinaga, a well-known designer of KAWASAKI RECORDS, is in charge of the jacket photo and artwork, and DJ KAWASAKI himself appears in the artwork of the past work with a concept based on the 70's Blue Note jacket motif. Although he never appeared on the cover, he once again expressed his determination as a musician by featuring himself on the cover.The liner notes are from a top funk DJ in Japan and a senior whom DJ KAWASAKI respects. Mr. Daisuke Kuroda (Kickin) was in charge.The realistic analysis and explanation of the sound from Mr. Kuroda's unique perspective is excellent.The content guarantees the quality of the album. There are regrets as things are lost one by one, feelings of helplessness, and the pain of having to survive every day, but in times like these, we must never give up hope, never stop walking, and move forward.
