A collaboration between KAWASAKI RECORDS and King Street Sounds, a prestigious New York house label sponsored by Hisa Ishioka, has been realized! Chris Brann's Ananda Project's 1998 masterpiece "Cascades Of Color" and the 2003 smash hit "We Are One" by Josh Milan and Kevin Hedge's duo Blaze have been remixed by DJ KAWASAKI for the summer of 2022. It has been reborn as a new version that will become an anthem. A 7-inch disc coupled with this exclusive remix will be released on Record Store Day, June 18, 2022!
The masterpiece "Cascades Of Color" released by Chris Brann's Ananda Project in 1998 is said to be the most successful song ever released by King Street Sounds/Nite Grooves. Contains a new version for 2022, in which DJ KAWASAKI boldly lowers the tempo of the famous deep house song played by DJs all over the world and reconstructs it with a slow disco and Balearic arrangement, all performed live!
Coupling includes the 2003 blockbuster hit by Blaze, the duo consisting of Josh Milan and Kevin Hedge, which was also included in the mix CD "King Of New York 3" produced by DJ KAWASAKI in 2008 as part of King Street Sounds' 15th anniversary project. “We Are One.” All of this has been reconstructed with live music by DJ KAWASAKI. Contains a new version of an evolved fusion funk reminiscent of early 80's Brit funk!
