Description
STAND ON THE WORD (UNRELEASED MIX)/【Popular Record Re-pressed!】That song with the memorable children's vocals that Danny Krivit plays often! Joubert Singers' 1985 "Stand On The Word" is an ultra-rare record where even used original copies trade for over $100, but this is an unreleased version! The recording was originally produced for the congregation of a certain church in NY, but Walter Gibbons liked it and played it heavily at the Rock & Soul shop where he worked, which led many DJs such as Larry Levan and David Mancuso to play it as well. A must-have for garage/loft/zanzibar-disco DJs, this is the pinnacle of gospel disco!
