Description
About two years after their previous work “SOUL REViEW,” 45trio, known for their outspoken love of vintage soul, have completed their new album “SOUL REViEW 2,” woven together with their signature refined ensemble and groove as they freely traverse Soul, Jazz, Funk, Brazilian, and other genres rooted in their musical heritage. This album also includes “Nebulosa” and “I Love Music,” which had already become smash hits as 7-inch singles! For the first time, “I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun” is reimagined as a funk-laden sound using a vocoder. G. Scott Heron’s signature song “The Bottle” is also transformed into a more dynamic dance track. Furthermore, the band offers a mellow arrangement of Casiopea’s hidden gem “Sunnyside Feelin’,” which has seen a significant resurgence in popularity among music listeners worldwide in recent years, presenting the original’s appeal through a fresh interpretation. In addition to these covers of shining classics from music history, the album features 12 exquisite tracks, including “#Stepney,” where the piano intertwines exquisitely with a funky beat and tight, solid upright bass, as well as original works such as “#Tenorio,” “#Hutson,” and “#Jamal,” familiar to fans from their 7-inch releases, allowing listeners to fully appreciate 45trio’s appeal as creators. Enjoy their unwavering love for Black music that flows throughout the entire album!
