1997年に発表された「Black Corsair」は、当時のハウス・ミュージックが持っていたエネルギーと探究心をそのまま封じ込めた一枚。無駄を削ぎ落としたビートに、太く沈み込むベースライン、そして広がりのあるシンセのレイヤーが重なり、シンプルながらも引き込まれるグルーヴを作り出す。
