1980年代イタロ・ディスコの黄金期を支えたValter Bassaniが、実娘Dafne Vallaをプロデュース。1984年の名曲を親子二世代でセルフカヴァーした、限定シリアルナンバー入りのクリスタル・イエロー・ヴァイナル。
1980年代に数々のヒット作を世に送り出し、イタロ・シーンの重要人物として知られるValter Bassani。彼が実娘Dafne Vallaのデビューを飾るべく始動させたプロジェクトが、Dafne & The Titansだ。本作「Shake Me Up」は、Valter自身が1984年に発表した楽曲を、Andrea Bassaniと共に共同プロデュース・編曲したもの。
往年のディスコ・サウンドが持つ高揚感はそのままに、透き通るようなDafneのヴォーカルが新たな息吹を吹き込んでいる。鮮やかなクリスタル・イエローの盤面が、楽曲の持つ煌びやかなシンセ・サウンドと共鳴する。限定シリアルナンバー入りの仕様となっており、初期イタロのDNAを継承しながら現代的な洗練を纏った、フロアとコレクターの両方を魅了する一枚。

Revisitation of the 1984’s song of Walter Bassani, this version is produced and arranged by both Andrea and Walter Bassani, the titular “Titans” that stans along the young singer in her first appearance.
