イタリアのプロデューサー Kreggo がOathから送り出すEP「Altro Mood」。2014年から活動を続ける彼は、IDM、Acid、Breaks、Bass、Techno といったスタイルを横断しながら、実験精神あふれる作品を積み重ねてきた。自身のレーベル Art-Aud やパーティー・シリーズ Secret Rave でも注目され、ヨーロッパのアンダーグラウンドを象徴する存在のひとりだ。
収録曲は、細かく刻まれるリズムにアシッドなシンセがうねる “Sensor”、浮遊感のある音響とブレイクビーツが絡み合う “Labi Inside”、ベースのグルーヴを前面に押し出した “Obabi” といったオリジナルに加え、レーベルの幅をさらに広げる “Taylor Bottle”、そしてフレンチ・ハウスの名手 Gilb’R が手掛けるリミックスを収録。深みのあるサウンドデザインとフロア直結の勢いが共存している。
