フランス南部出身のLife RecorderがQUINTESSENTIALSからEP『Natural Instincts』をリリース。VisionsやHizou、さらに自身のLife Notesレーベルでの活動でも知られる彼は、デトロイトやシカゴに影響を受けたハウス感覚を持つ。トラック『Natural Instincts』や『Dreams』では、ディープなグルーヴに乗ったメロディアスなハウスが展開され、フロアを自然に揺らすリズムとエモーショナルな旋律を両立させている。
さらにフランスの実力派プロデューサーAleqs Notalがリミックスを手掛け、自身のレーベルIndustrial Lightで培った洗練されたダンス感覚を加え、もう一つの表情をプラス。深みのあるディープ・ハウスから、メロディックなフロア向けハウスまで、自然に身体が反応するグルーヴが詰まったEPだ。
