長年コレクター市場で高値を付けてきた1992年のイタリア産ディープ・ハウス／イタロ・ハウス名作が、正式ライセンスのもと復刻。
Maldido Primitivoによる『Atmosphere Tropical』は、90年代初頭のイタリアン・ハウスらしい開放感とメロディアスな空気感をまとったEP。イタロ・ハウス特有の軽やかなピアノ、透き通るシンセパッド、素直に前へ進む4つ打ちビートが重なり、陽光を思わせるサウンドスケープを描く。
タイトル曲“Atmosphere Tropical”は、広がりのあるコードと柔らかなリズムが心地よく、フロアでもリスニングでも機能する一曲。過度な装飾に頼らず、シンプルな構成でじわじわと高揚感を積み上げていく。90年代イタリアのディープ・ハウスが持っていた、ロマンティックでどこか夢見心地な質感がそのまま封じ込められている。
