Ninja TuneやR&S、Dekmantel、Royal Oakといったエレクトロニック・ミュージックの名門レーベルで確固たるキャリアを築いてきたSpace Dimension Controller。本作『Six Beginnings』は、1990年代初頭のWarp Recordsに代表される『Artificial Intelligence』期のアンビエント・テクノやIDMのルーツへオマージュを捧げた6曲入りのEPだ。レトロフューチャーな世界観を基盤に据えつつも、彼独自の未来的なひねりを加えることで、サウンドを未知の次元へと押し上げている。収録された楽曲では、緩やかにうねるスローモーションなアシッド・ライン、夢幻的なエーテル・テクスチャー、そして心地よく体を揺らす繊細な推進力のあるリズムが融合。部屋で白昼夢に浸るリスナーからダンスフロアまで、あらゆる空間に対応するエレクトロニック・ミュージックが凝縮されたヴァイナルだ。
