デンマークの新鋭バレアリック・デュオSubnesiaが待望のヴァイナル・デビュー。プロデューサーAnders Ponsaingとサックス奏者Michael Runeからなるこのユニットは、2023年の『The Beginning』と『Range of Colors』から選りすぐった楽曲を再構築。

Danish duo Subnesia land impressively with their debut vinyl release as they blend selections from their previous albums The Beginning from 2023 and Range of Colors earlier this year. The result is a heartfelt, genre-blurring jaunt through homespun pop, Balearic soul, funk and jazz-infused beats that chime perfectly with the Music For Dreams MO. Comprising producer Anders Ponsaing and saxophonist Michael Rune, Subnesia work on instinct and creates music that feels warm and refreshingly unpretentious. Strong grooves nod to the hip-hop and r&b-inspired pop of the early 2000s, but layered with expressive instrumental leads and standout guest vocals. It's a confident collection that's both accessible and rich with musical depth.
