Blending jazz-funk grooves, surf-tinged guitars, deep analogue textures and vintage soundtrack influences, the release captures the atmosphere of France's Basque coastline through The Offline's distinctive lens. From the driving, sun-drenched energy of 'Les derniers jours de juin' to the laid-back, reflective mood of 'Marées', both tracks feel like lost scenes from a forgotten film soundtrack.
Written as musical companions to the photographs that continue to hang in Felix Müller's studio, these two pieces further expand the cinematic world of The Offline, where nostalgia, travel and timeless grooves meet.
